My cas experience enabled me to fulfill all thw cas learning outcome. With service, I learnt how important it is to help underpriviledged individuals (including animals) and how to collaborate in order to achieve greater good. My action taught me perserverance and also encouraged to do something new (skiing, swimming). Creativity was the one I enjoyed most. It enabled me to try somethin new and find what I’m good at.
CAS final reflections
My experience with creativity, action and service is coming to an end. A strange feeling, giving up on this blog I’ve been running for two years. Maybe I will miss some aspects of that, but generally I am happy to not be anylonger forced to work on that. Firstly, I did not enjoy documenting my experience. It is true I now haev somehting to go back to (photos), but I found it distracting to interrupt my activities only to take a picture. It wasn’t natural for me. Another point is that I do not believe people should be forced to this kind of things. Whether we volunteer or not, whether we use our imagination or not, whether we exercise and take care of our bodies - this should be or choice. If we don’t decide freely to do that, we may even stop enjoying the activities we would otherwise enjoy. I do see the point of CAS, that it encourages young people to develop apart from scholar achievements, but I did not enjoy it.
Ginger cookies. I printed cute patterns on them. My secret is adding rose honey. They were rather tasty but I don’t think this is my kind of cookies.
Hey, this post may contain sexually explicit content, so we’ve hidden it from public view.
Lavender cookies!!! I fell in love with lavender quite a time ago and I add it to literally everything. So cookies with lavender were for me inevitable. Im very contented with the outcome.
